Tour 31.  Um den Bjørnefjord

Eine Tour um den reizvollen Bjørnefjord mit abwechslungsreicher, unverfälschter Landschaft - Fjorde, Inseln und Berge - sowie interessantern Kulturerbe. 

Fusa district: has potholes depicted on its coat of arms. Here you will find idyllic fjords, concealed valleys surrounded by steep mountainsides, abundant agriculture and rivers rich in fish. Agriculture remains a full or part-time occupation for many residents, while others work in fish farming, timber processing, shipbuilding and service industries. The population is about 3,700.

 

Tysnes district: has as its symbol two oxen with a roof over them, representing the Onarheim Guild. Onarheim was the
seat of a prehistoric chieftain, whose farm was a centre of worship and assembly for western Norway. Tysnes district has 2.900 permanent residents and 9.000 residents with holiday homes.
